Concept Drawing & Design Architects are a young and vibrant company that aims to provide designs and schemes for all those that wish to improve or alter their current home or business, either through internal alterations, extensions or new build construction. Through our experience we are able to provide schemes that are suited to each individual project, location and client, which can be taken from a number of different architectural styles such as environmental, conservation, traditional and contemporary rather than being restricted to the same style for every project.

By specializing in preparing project briefs, existing surveys, designs and drawings for planning, building regulations, tender and construction, we are able to offer a service that ensures that the client begins an exciting journey in construction while feeling well equipped with the right knowledge, advice and support.

As a practice we are passionate about providing schemes that are high in architectural design, quality and usability by considering the sites surroundings, biodiversity and client requirements. Careful consideration of the appropriate construction, materials and environmental requirements helps us to ensure that the most suitable and desirable design is achieved for our clients. 

Although the practice is based in Calne, Wiltshire, Concept Drawing & Design Architects are able to offer a high level of service throughout the south of England for a competitive fee and can cover many areas such as Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Marlborough, Swindon, Bath, Oxford and many more.

To ensure that these services are to a high standard Concept Drawing & Design Services have a wealth of architectural, conservation, construction and office running experience and knowledge, which is from dedicated and helpful members of the team, which include:

Director and Senior Architect- Stuart Kendrick MA(Arch), BA(Hons), Dip Arch, ARB, RIBA

Stuart has been a Director of Concept Drawing & Design Architects since 2014, and has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry with most as a qualified Architect. Throughout these years Stuart has worked in a number of different areas of architecture including sustainability, conservation, educational and residential. This includes re-ordering, renovating refurbishing and maintaining Listed Buildings and Historic Churches as well as working on schemes that require environmental construction and technologies.

Since completing his architectural degrees from Portsmouth University, Stuart has been a member of ARB since 2007 as a qualified architect, as well as becoming a Chartered Architect in 2021. In 2016, Stuart successfully passed the RIBA Principal Designers Course.

Admin and Internal Creations Support – Sarah Kendrick

Sarah joined the practice in 2021 and is a valuable member of the team. Prior to Concept Drawing and Design Architects worked for several different children's nurseries as qualified Nursery Nurse and provides important administration support to ensure that Concept Drawing & Design Architects runs smoothly and efficiently. Other roles that Sarah carries out is supporting the design team and clients in considering internal alterations, material choices and furnishing.
